B. Raman claims that the radicalisation of the British Muslims was not only known to the Western intelligence agencies but was actually aided by them. I tend to take Raman with a pinch of salt but you can decide for yourself.
I posted a link to a column, We rock the boat, a few days ago. Dilpazier Aslam, the reporter who wrote it, has now been 'revealed' as a 'hardline Islamist'. The Independant informs us that Speculation is mounting that it may have been a sting by Hizb ut-Tahrir to infiltrate the mainstream media. Personally, I can't see what the fuss is all about. As far as I'm concerned all the hardline Islamists in the world are welcome to infiltrate the mainstream media and talk about emotions, attitudes and perspectives. Much better than blowing people and/or things up...
